Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Phase 5, BJP Candidate Accused Of Beating On TMC 'Goons'


Polling is going on for 51 seats in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections from 7 am on Monday. Meanwhile, Arjun Singh, BJP candidate from Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency, has accused Trinamool Congress (TMC) of "attacking from goons".

Television channels are showing that Arjun Singh is clashing with those people while his personal security guard is trying to stop the intervention. He is also seen fighting with a policeman. The incident took place in Mohanpur, about 29 km from the capital, Kolkata.

According to the news agency ANI, Arjun Singh said, - On me, TMC goons attacked, they were brought from outside. These people were scared by our voters. I'm injured.

Barakpur Lok Sabha constituency candidate Arjun Singh alleged that the TMC's goons kidnapped a woman's son in their constituency.

In a village of Udaynarayanpur under the Uluberia Lok Sabha constituency of West Bengal, there was demolition in the house of BJP supporter Uttam Mondal on Monday.

Local people alleged that TMC workers ransacked at home when they came to know that Mondal could be appointed as BJP's polling agent.
