Australia Vs India: India's Another Embarrassing Defeat In Hockey


The Indian men's hockey team had to face another defeat in the second match on the tour of Australia. Australia defeated India 5-2 in the second match played on Friday. For India, Nilkant Sharma scored 12th and Rupinder Pal Singh scored in the 53rd minute.

For Australia, Fluen Ogilive was third, Trent Mitton scored goals in the 11th and 24th minutes, Block Gervas in the 28th minute and Tim Brands in the 43rd minute. In the first match, India had to lose 0-4 to Australia. With this match, the Indian team ended the five-match tour of Australia.

The Indian team, under the supervision of new coach Graham Reid, beat the Western Australia Thundersticks team 2-0 in the first match and after that, they defeated Australia-A team 3-0. After this India played with 1-1 draw in the second match with the same team.
