SRH vs DC, IPL 2019, 30th Match -Spectacular Bowling Performance Takes DC To Second Place In IPL 2019 Table


The 30th match of the 12th edition of Indian Premier League was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. In this match, Delhi Capitals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 39 runs. 

The Delhi Capitals team has 5 wins in this 8 matches and is in second place after the Chennai Super Kings in the table with 10 points. Sunrisers Hyderabad's team is sixth in the points table with 6 points, with a fourth defeat in seven matches.

In this match, Delhi Capitals batted first after losing the toss and scored 155 for 7 wickets in 20 overs. For Delhi, captain Shreyas Iyer scored 45, Colin Munro 40 and Rishabh Pant made 23 runs. For Hyderabad, K Khaleel Ahmed took 3 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar 2 wickets for Hyderabad. Abhishek Sharma and Rashid Khan got 1-1 wickets.

In response, the Sunrise Hyderabad team started very well. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow added 72 runs for the opening wicket in 9.5 overs. But after the dismissal of Jonny Bairstow, the Hyderabad team lost wickets at regular intervals. Bairstow scored 41 runs in 31 balls with 5 fours and 1 sixes. David Warner also scored 51 runs in 47 balls with three fours and one six.

Apart from these openers, none of the other batsmen of Sunrisers Hyderabad could touch the ten score. In reply to Delhi Capitals' 155, Sunrisers Hyderabad's entire team lost for 116 runs in 18.5 overs. Kagiso Rabada dismissed 4 players for the Delhi Capitals and Chris Maurice took 3 wickets. Chemo Paul also returned the pavilion to three players of Hyderabad.
