SRH vs CSK, IPL 2019, 33rd Match: Hyderabad defeated Chennai in Dhoni's absence

Sunrise Hyderabad (SRH), which has consistently lost three defeats, has returned to the winning track in the IPL-12. SRH played in the absence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Wednesday, defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 6 wickets. Apart from David Warner (50), Vijay Shankar (7), Deeper Hooda (13) and Ken Williamson contributed 3 runs. Imran Tahir took two wickets for Chennai while Karn Sharma and Deepak Chahar got one wicket each.

Chennai's highest run scored by Faf du Plessis (45). He planted 3 fours and three sixes in his 31-ball innings. Besides Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson also scored 31runs. For Hyderabad, Rashid Khan took two wickets while Vijay Shankar, Shahbaz Nadeem, and K Khaleel Ahmed took one wicket each.

Chennai decided to bat first after winning the toss. The command of SRH is in the hands of Ken Williamson and in the absence of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, CSK had been led by Suresh Raina. Dhoni has decided to take rest in this match. Dhoni did not captain Chennai for the first time since 2010.
