KKR Vs RCB, IPL 2019, 35th match: - RCB Beat KKR By 10 Runs In The Storm Of KKR's Batting

IPL's 35th match was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Eden Gardens Stadium. Bangalore beat Kolkata by 10 runs in the match of the batting line-up. This is the second win in 9 matches of the IPL 2019.




This is the 5th defeat in Kolkata in 9 matches. Batting first after losing the toss in the match, the Bangalore team scored 213 runs for 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs on Virat Kohli's 5th IPL century. Virat was able to score 100 runs with 9 fours and 4 sixes in 58 balls.

Apart from them, Moin Ali made 66 runs in 28 balls with the help of 5 fours and 6 sixes. On whose own the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore pitched a huge score of 213 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Kuldeep Yadav, Sunil Narine, Harry Gurney and Andre Russell for Kolkata had a 1-1 wicket. Virat was selected as the Man of the Match for his innings. In reply, KKR's team could score 203 runs in 20 overs by losing 5 wickets.


RCB Defended KKR's Tremendous Firing

The Kolkata Knight Riders started very poorly and they lost three wickets for 33 runs in 5 overs. For the fourth wicket in 6.5 overs, Robin Uthappa and Nitish Rana had a small partnership of 46 runs.

Nitish Rana and Andre Russell brought Kolkata Knight Riders closer to victory in the match. But slow batting of KKR, in the beginning, proved to be detrimental in the last over. Rana and Russell shared a 118-run partnership in 48 balls for the 5th wicket. At that time, this match was out of reach for the RCB.

But the target was so big that the RCB bowler defended him despite the tremendous firing. Andre Russell made 65 in 25 balls with two fours and 9 sixes. Nitish Rana returned unbeaten in 46 balls with nine fours and 5 sixes. Dale Steyn took two wickets for Bangalore. Navdeep Saini and Marcus Stoinis got 1-1 wickets.
