IPL 2019, CSKVSRR: -Chennai Beat Rajasthan By 8 Runs To Win Third Successive Win

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) scored an unbeaten 75 not out in 46 balls against the dangerous bowling of Rajasthan Royals at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai's difficult pitch.
Due to this innings of Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by eight runs in the IPL match (IPL) 2019 and won the third consecutive win. Mahendra Singh Dhoni once again proved that he is Dhoni and delivered the team to 175 runs on five wickets.
In response to CSK's inning, Rajasthan Royals team could only have scored 167 runs in eight wickets and this was their third consecutive defeat.
Royals captain Ajinkya Rahane, the last match centurion Sanju Samson and in-form Jos Buttler were all out in the first three overs. Although it was the ploy pair of Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur, who brought the hosts to the top, leg-spinner Imran Tahir bowled superbly to slow the run-rate in the middle overs. He returned to 2/23, including Steve Smith's expensive wicket.

In the last over of Jaydev Unadkat, Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored a brilliant 28 runs, which was the third most expensive over of IPL history. Chennai scored 60 runs in the last three overs.
Dhoni hit four fours and four sixes in his innings and three of them sixes were in the last over of Unadkat. Earlier, Suresh Raina (36) and Dhoni shared 61 runs for the fourth wicket. Dhoni also scored 56 runs with Dwayne Bravo.
